002 @ Video | Action for Violet City
[So, Ryo's back in Violet City again. The trip was less arduous this time around, with the exception of that lovely detour to Dark Cave, courtesy of Ai. Yeah, that probably won an award in the Greatest Idea Ever category. Well, it probably was worth it for the Geodude. Geodude is cool.
Anyway, due to that incident, Ryo thinks that he should prepare for any other unexpected detours and, um... accidents... before they set out once more for Violet City. To do that, they'll need a bit more money that what they currently have collectively. Now, what could they do to gain more income rather than battling other trainers? What's an idol to do?
That's when the idea came up: To perform in front of the Pokemon Center. You know, like those random street performers in the city? Even if they may get mistaken for hobos or something, it would be a good way to maintain practice while making some extra money. But their regular clothes aren't too appealing, are they? Maybe there's some interesting costumes in one of the Marts---
Though, with their budget, they could only afford a single maid outfit. Such an unfortunate turn of events. So it seems that for now, they will need to take turns in singing. The decision of who will don the maid outfit rests upon a game of rock paper scissors---
... And that's why, during a sunny afternoon, in Violet City and on the PokeGear (courtesy of Ryo's Ralts), people will be seeing an adorable(?) girl in a maid outfit singing and dancing, with a small jar containing a few Pokedollars sitting in front of "her".
Yeah. Being Ryo is suffering.MONY PLZ??? huehuehue]

Yeah. Being Ryo is suffering.
action
[Ryo smiles back.]
That's right, my friends and I ended up taking some dangerous... er, detours on our way here. So I'd like to prepare in advance in case that happens again. Plus, they'd like to perform in every city we visit, but they want to "stand out"... [He gestures to the ridiculous costume he's wearing, with a bit of an exasperated expression.]
action
[Good thing they avoided it.]
I don't see anything wrong with performing in the cities... but there are jobs you could also take, if you want to earn money for travels.
action
[Hopefully Ai will learn her lesson from that.]
I told them that, but they think this is a better method. They don't want to stay in towns long and really want to make a beeline for Goldenrod.
action
[He hasn't yet seen anything that dangerous... except a flaming horse that didn't trust him.]
What's so important about Goldenrod?
action
[Too bad he still needs to wear a dress.]
At the very least, it's going to be the meeting point for other people from my world.
action
[They should probably head there too, sometime. If there was a place for singers, then it would be a good place to start.]
Is there a lot of people here from your world?
action
Yeah, most of them are idol singers from 765 Production, our sister company. They sometimes act as mentors for idols in our company, 876 Production. Maybe you've met some of them? They stand out a lot.
