002 @ Video | Action for Violet City
[So, Ryo's back in Violet City again. The trip was less arduous this time around, with the exception of that lovely detour to Dark Cave, courtesy of Ai. Yeah, that probably won an award in the Greatest Idea Ever category. Well, it probably was worth it for the Geodude. Geodude is cool.
Anyway, due to that incident, Ryo thinks that he should prepare for any other unexpected detours and, um... accidents... before they set out once more for Violet City. To do that, they'll need a bit more money that what they currently have collectively. Now, what could they do to gain more income rather than battling other trainers? What's an idol to do?
That's when the idea came up: To perform in front of the Pokemon Center. You know, like those random street performers in the city? Even if they may get mistaken for hobos or something, it would be a good way to maintain practice while making some extra money. But their regular clothes aren't too appealing, are they? Maybe there's some interesting costumes in one of the Marts---
Though, with their budget, they could only afford a single maid outfit. Such an unfortunate turn of events. So it seems that for now, they will need to take turns in singing. The decision of who will don the maid outfit rests upon a game of rock paper scissors---
... And that's why, during a sunny afternoon, in Violet City and on the PokeGear (courtesy of Ryo's Ralts), people will be seeing an adorable(?) girl in a maid outfit singing and dancing, with a small jar containing a few Pokedollars sitting in front of "her".
Yeah. Being Ryo is suffering.MONY PLZ??? huehuehue]

if everthat he's seen an idol perform, and to have one so close is exhilarating. Well, 'close' being the next town over, but details details --]You're amazing, Ryo-chan! Although, I'd never imagine an idol to sing in an outfit like that... Still, it's based on your musical ability, not how you're dressed.
[And then he notices the jar. Huh... He leans in to get a better look-- yeah, that's a jar for money, and he leans back again, frowning a little.]
Are you guys running short on money? I could send you some if that's the case, but I don't know if it'll be enough...
Thanks, Ryoji-san. To be honest, I'd rather not wear something like this, but apparently wearing a flashy costume would attract more attention. It was a choice between this or the sailor swimsuit, so I picked the lesser evil...
[Sigh. Oh well, this is all to become top idol, another landmark down the road to manliness. Back to smiles! An idol has to keep cool during PR events, after all!]
I'm pretty much the caretaker of these two girls with me---[He quickly points the camera to Ai and Eri, then back to himself.]---and our funds are kind of dipping, especially with our tendency to take, um, detours... I won't force you to donate, though!
And really, he's supposed to be saving it for emergencies - like, say, if his Potions run out or something and his Pokémon are in dire condition but-- well-- it wouldn't hurt. And it's good to lend a hand!]
Then I'll wire some. Would 1500 be okay?
Eh?! Is giving us that much really okay? [He can't help it! MODESTY...]
[Ryoji was a self-proclaimed rich kid once upon a time-- also he doesn't know the meaning of money but people who aren't human never do--]
Not that Ryo knows that.]
W-Well, when you put it that way, I guess that makes sense... Thanks, Ryoji-san! I'll make sure you'll get an autograph from the three of us the next time we meet~
[video]
I'd love that, Ryo-chan! I'll send it over right away.
[When Ryo checks his PC later on, there'll be a nice sum of 1500 Pokédollars waiting for him. c:]
