[It's raining, it's pouring. This really put a dent in the Idol Caravan's traveling plans, but Ryo's making the most of it. Shit happens, after all. Even if it does make some things more... difficult. So the feed opens to the novice idol sitting in a tent, spreading some mayonnaise on a slice of bread. In the background are a Ralts and a Rattata happily muching on some diagonally cut sandwiches that seem to contain some whipped cream and Oran berries. It seems that the PokeGear has been set on the ground, so that Ryo's "cooking" duty can continue during the broadcast.

Ryo lets out a small sigh.]

I feel bad that I can't make a nicer meal for everyone... but I suppose there's no helping it with this kind of weather. Haruka-san and everyone, I'm sorry.

[After glancing back at the Pokemon stuffing their faces, Ryo turns to look at the camera again with a smile.]

The berry sandwiches I made seem to be a hit, though~ I'm glad.

Anyway, I'd like to ask about these Pokemon Gyms, since I'm thinking of challenging them once I'm strong enough. How should I prepare? And how do I know when I'm ready?

[Ryo glances to the side, mumbling in a barely audible and lower pitched voice---]

[Suddenly, that train of thought is interrupted when the Ralts and Rattata begin to fight over the last sandwich. Ryo quickly drops the unprepared sandwich in hand and picks up the PokeGear to turn it off, since trying to diffuse this situation is probably not something people should see.]

RITSU, NEZU, NO----!

[The camera's view rapidly flies from one crazy angle to another, with a loud "GYAOOOOOOOON!" ringing through the tent before the feed shuts off.]

Ahhh, I know that feeling quite well, Akizuki-san! It's always a challenge preparing food on the road... You have to plan well in advance, and if your party is big, you need to carry enough for everyone... It was tough to keep it all in there when I was on the roa--

Who is Ryohime?! [Not sure if this is an upgrade from 'Onee-chan'! Anyway, better do something about the two Pokemon playing tug-o-war with a sandwich.]

U-Um! Please, you two! I'll make more, so please stop fighting...!

[ suddenly Ami does a dramatic flip off of Ryo's back!! Also Kouhai suddenly appears next to her and poses with her and there is a pretend yellow backdrop and fireworks and stuff, except that stuff doesn't really exist.

She points to the two Pokemon with the iron will of a Steelix. ]

... Boom.

[ Ami holds up her finger and blows it like a revolver..

and turns to walk away. Kouhai looks confused but follows. ]

If you want a detailed guide on all the gyms, I can pass one your way. But for Falkner specifically... Well, you're gonna want to hit at least level thirty before you even think of challenging him. It'd also help if you pick up an electric, rock, or ice type, since he's a flying type leader.

Ryo-chan? Ryo-chan?!

[ What had just ... happened? ] ... are you alright?

[ They haven't been here for long and they want to already research the gym leaders? She's been here for a while and still hasn't worked on it. For a moment, she feels underwhelmed.

It's quickly gone when she realizes just how much work all of that would be! ]

Miki heard that you need to get a really good team with various types of Pokemon.

[ .. she's just.. blinking at that last part.. ]

Uu-.. what happened?

[ all makoto really heard was screaming, so she comes running into the tent in a rush despite the rain still pouring outside. as a result, she's quite wet when she makes it there. ]

What's going on!?

[ it's then that she notices the two pokemon fighting over food, and- ]

Hey, that's our lunch!

[ rather than defusing the situation, makoto seems to escalate it by jumping into the fray herself... ]

[Sup, 'bro idol. Except, she doesn't know that.]

Akizuki-san. Is everything alright?

[Thankfully, the crisis had been averted by the time Ryo answers. He seems pretty tuckered out, though.]

Barely... Thankfully splitting the last sandwich in half was enough for them to stop fighting. I didn't think Pokemon could be so territorial with food!

[What just happened? Ryo was expecting something grander, and couldn't help but stare at Ami, quite dumbfounded. How the hell does he react to that?

He turns his attention back to the Pokemon---]

[... And he sees that they've fallen over, staying as still and silent as they could.]

They're actually going along with it?!

I see... So types also play a huge role in gaining the advantage in battle.

[Ryo puts a hand under his chin thoughtfully.]

You seem to be really experienced with this! It's like you're an expert or something.

[When the feed finally turns back on, the Pokemon are peacefully eating their lunch. Though Ryo looks incredibly tired.]

L-Lacus-san... I'm barely okay. It seems splitting the last one in half worked. Though, I really didn't expect the people I'm traveling with to make the situation worse...

[Thankfully, lunch crisis was long averted before Ryo calls Miki back.]

Really? I think I get it... The gym leaders all focus on one type, so I should exploit that. I should catch a lot then. As expected, you're very knowledgeable, Miki-san~

[Even if... it's probably just common knowledge.]

Speaking of which, what kind of Pokemon do you have?

[skajfkgkghrehnouif Thankfully after some quick thinking, Ryo had managed to diffuse the conflict by splitting the last sandwich in half. Too bad so many of his companions had to "help" and made the situation take a lot longer that it should have... Though he can't really be mad at him.

He smiles weakly at the camera.]

S-Sorry you had to see that, Maria-chan. My Pokemon were fighting over the last berry sandwich I made for them...

[Well, this is totally getting better. Once Makoto barges into the tent, Ryo ends up letting another "GYAOOOOON!" when he gets splashed by rainwater.

And now, Makoto has decided to do battle with Ryo's Pokemon over lunch that isn't actually supposed to be theirs. Okay, he'll try calming them all down again---]

Makoto-san, wait! That's---

[KRRRRSSSSH STATIC WRRRRSSSSSSSH]

Ah! Chihaya-san! Ummm, don't worry! I'm trying to keep things under control! [THUD!] Gyaooooon! You guys, I said to stop fighting!

Ah... That's a relief! *phew! He was worried a little, but he'll be smiling after a moment.* You should figure out what their favorites are as soon as you can, Akizuki-san! It's a important thing to know when you want to split up their food.

[ she's too embroiled in this life and death struggle to even hear ryo at first.

she does, and glances in her direction, before nearly having a loose sandwich snatched back away from her by one of the pokemon.

which of course gets her attention squarely right back where it had been to begin with. sorry ryo... ]

[She lets out a small cry.]

A-Akizuki-san! [That sounds really bad.] I still have some berries left if you...Should I come over?

They must've been re-ally hungry to fight so much for it, uu-..! [ she gasps. ] Maria's friends never fought that much for a sandwich!
